Glasgow / Karachi (Sapeher Times) The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) made a strong and effective representation of Pakistan, particularly Karachi, at the high-level summit held as part of the World Water Congress & Exhibition 2026, organized by the International Water Association (IWA) in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
KW&SC Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Muhammad Ammar Ali Khan participated as a key panelist in the special session titled “Are Your Organisations Ready for the Evolution Required to Succeed?” During the session, he delivered a comprehensive briefing on the financial, administrative and institutional reforms being undertaken in Karachi’s water and sewerage sector.
During his presentation, Muhammad Ammar Ali Khan highlighted the corporation’s initiatives aimed at ensuring equitable water distribution, adopting modern technology and advancing sustainable water management. The initiatives and progress presented at the international forum received appreciation from water-sector experts and international delegates.
The CFO’s participation and presentation at the global forum are being viewed as an important step toward strengthening Karachi’s position in the international water sector.
