The incident occurred near Nasir Shakh, where the assailants stopped the van and tried to take the teachers hostage. However, the school’s security guard bravely resisted, prompting the teachers to raise an alarm. Upon hearing the commotion, local villagers rushed to the scene with weapons and successfully thwarted the abduction attempt.
Upon receiving the report, the B-Section police arrived promptly, but the armed men managed to escape while firing in the air. Later, under the leadership of DSP Thul, a heavy police contingent reached the site and initiated a search operation to track down the culprits.
According to the school principal, “We were on our way to the school when unidentified armed men stopped our van and attempted to abduct us. However, thanks to the courage of our security guard and the timely intervention of local villagers, we were saved.”
School guard Dildar Banglani stated, “As we were traveling from Thul to the school, we were intercepted near Nasir Shakh by nine armed men riding three motorcycles. They tried to stop the van and kidnap us, but with the help of the villagers and the police, we managed to escape unharmed.”
According to B-Section police, officers responded swiftly to the call and engaged in an exchange of fire with the criminals, successfully preventing the abduction. As additional police reinforcements arrived, the assailants fled the scene under cover of gunfire.
Police have assured that a crackdown against criminals will continue to ensure law and order in the area
