Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Effective Enforcement of Traffic Laws, Crackdown on Double Parking and Helmet Awareness Campaign Continue،According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Traffic Police continues to take special measures to ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws and enhance the safety of citizens. Alongside action against illegal and double parking and a special awareness campaign is also underway to promote helmet use among motorcyclists.Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainaat Azhar Khan reviewed the ongoing action against vehicles causing obstruction to traffic flow and directed the concerned officers to ensure effective enforcement. She also appealed to citizens to use designated parking areas and cooperate with Islamabad Traffic Police in maintaining smooth traffic flow.The Chief Traffic Officer said that the special campaign promoting helmet use has produced positive results, with helmet usage among motorcyclists increasing by up to 90 percent. She said that wearing a helmet is not merely a requirement under traffic laws but an essential safeguard for the life of a motorcyclist. She urged motorcyclists to wear a standard-quality helmet every time they travel.She further said that compliance with traffic laws, responsible driving and cooperation from citizens can play a vital role in making the roads of Islamabad safer and improving the overall traffic management system.
