ISLAMABAD (Sapeher Times) Ali Bin Tariq Appointed DPO Attock; Additional IG Punjab Muhammad Kamran Khan and RPO Multan Usman Akram Gondal Praise His Professional Leadership

ISLAMABAD (Sapeher Times) The Government of Punjab has appointed senior Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) officer Ali Bin Tariq as the new District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, issuing formal transfer and posting orders in this regard.

Prior to his appointment in Attock, Ali Bin Tariq was serving as DPO Lodhran, where he earned recognition for his professional policing, administrative leadership, crime-control initiatives, and commitment to public service.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Inspector General of Police Punjab Muhammad Kamran Khan commended Ali Bin Tariq’s services, describing him as a capable, dedicated, and highly professional officer. He said that throughout his career, Ali Bin Tariq had demonstrated integrity, discipline, and a strong commitment to the core values of policing.

“Punjab Police takes pride in officers who lead from the front and uphold the highest professional standards. Ali Bin Tariq has consistently proven himself to be one of those officers,” Muhammad Kamran Khan remarked.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan Usman Akram Gondal also paid tribute to Ali Bin Tariq’s performance during his tenure in Lodhran. He noted that the officer had displayed exceptional leadership qualities and played a significant role in strengthening law and order, enhancing operational effectiveness, and improving public confidence in the police.

“Ali Bin Tariq has served with dedication and professionalism. His contributions to policing in Lodhran have been widely appreciated, and I am confident he will continue to deliver outstanding results in Attock,” Usman Akram Gondal said.

Police sources described the appointment as an important administrative decision, noting that Attock is one of Punjab’s strategically significant districts due to its geographical location and law-enforcement responsibilities. Effective police leadership, they said, remains crucial for maintaining public safety and strengthening the rule of law in the district.
