Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Police Conduct 54 Search and Combing Operations to Curb Criminal Activities،According to the details, in accordance with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police are continuing grand search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to prevent crime and curb criminal activities.In this regard, 54 grand search and combing operations were conducted in different areas under the supervision of zonal SPs. During these operations, 2,891 individuals, 1,404 houses, 272 shops, 76 hotels, 1,316 motorcycles and 495 vehicles were checked.Furthermore, 130 suspicious individuals, 157 motorcycles and 10 vehicles were shifted to various police stations for verification.Ice, heroin and liquor were also recovered during the search operations, along with three illegal pistols and ammunition.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the purpose of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further strengthen security across the city. He said that search operations are being conducted in different areas across the capital.He further stated that Islamabad Police are continuing indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers and drug dealers.
