Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Swift police action leads to arrest of murder cases accused in record time,According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DSP CIA Salman Shah, held an important press conference at the Central Police Office Islamabad.IGP Islamabad stated that in recent days, three highly tragic and unfortunate incidents of the murder of women occurred in the federal capital, Islamabad, in which ruthless perpetrators killed women using firearms and torture. He said that a horrific incident took place two days ago in Islamabad in which two women were brutally murdered.In the jurisdiction of Police Station Aabpara, during the night, accused Bilal Hussain, over a domestic dispute, shot and killed his former wife Farhana Younas and Nigah Yaseen. Immediately after the incident, police registered a case and launched an operation to arrest the accused, successfully apprehending the main suspect Bilal Hussain within 48 hours.For the arrest of the accused, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq formed seven special CIA teams under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza. These teams conducted raids in various areas of Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to trace the suspect.During the investigation, 117 call detail records (CDRs) were analyzed, footage from more than 41 Safe City cameras was reviewed, and assistance was also taken from CCTV recordings. In addition, 37 individuals were interrogated, and multiple raids were conducted in different areas including Chakwal and Gujar Khan. Operations were also carried out at possible hideouts of the accused in Islamabad, and his relatives were questioned. A special CIA team was sent to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where operations in different locations helped trace the accused.IGP Islamabad expressed gratitude to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their special cooperation in the case. He said that under the clear instructions of the IG KP, the DPO Upper Dir fully cooperated with Islamabad Police, which led to the arrest of the ruthless accused Bilal Hussain. The arrested accused was also found in possession of the murder weapon, while investigations are ongoing against the other nominated accused Muhammad Hussain and Mudassir.IGP Islamabad further said that, by the grace of Allah Almighty, Islamabad Police has a consistent tradition of using preventive policing, community policing, and modern effective methods for timely detection of crimes. He added that due to hard work, professional competence, and Allah’s help, major cases are usually solved within 24, 48, or 72 hours. Previously, Islamabad Police has also solved murder cases, bank robberies, and other major cases in a short time.
