ISLAMABAD (Sapeher Times) Strict security plan enforced across Islamabad on Eid-ul-AdhaAccording to the details, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, along with SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Security Operations Salman Zafar, and other senior police officers, remained personally present in the field throughout Eid-ul-Adha.He visited police officers deployed at checkpoints and recreational spots across the city to ensure the safety and security of citizens. During the visits, he reviewed the security arrangements and directed all officers to treat families with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.DIG Islamabad stated that, under the Eid security plan, all possible security measures were implemented across the city and strict compliance with the plan was ensured. Owing to the effective strategy and vigilance of Islamabad Police, no untoward incident occurred during the Eid holidays.Security checkpoints were established at all entry and exit points of the city, as well as at key locations within the federal capital. Strict action was also taken against individuals involved in one-wheeling, reckless driving, and hooliganism.He further stated that parks across Islamabad were designated as family parks, and entry was restricted to families only. Similarly, at Daman-e-Koh and Lake View Park, individuals other than families were not permitted entry. Comprehensive security arrangements were put in place to ensure the safety and convenience of families visiting recreational areas. To maximize public safety, all SSPs, SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs also remained present in the field and personally supervised security operations.DIG Islamabad added that every officer of Islamabad Police performed their duties with dedication and teamwork. He described the officers standing in the scorching heat to safeguard the public as the real heroes, adding that Islamabad Police officials remain on the streets day and night to maintain peace, law, and order.He reaffirmed that Islamabad Police will continue to perform its duties with the same commitment, professionalism, and dedication.
