Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Over 509 individuals checked during citywide search operations in capital،،Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs.During the search operations, a total of 509 individuals, 303 households, 47 Hotels, 80 Shops, 203 motorcycles and 82 vehicles were checked. Additionally, 38 suspicious individuals and 21 motorcycles were shifted to the police station for further verification.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the objective of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further enhance security across the city. Such operations are being conducted in different areas throughout the district. Islamabad Police continues indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.Citizens are requested to immediately report any suspicious activity to their nearest police station or contact the emergency helpline “Pucaar-15”.
