ISLAMABAD (Sapeher Times) UAE Ambassador to Pakistan meets Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram

ISLAMABAD  (Sapeher Times) On 6th April 2026, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan and held a meeting with His Excellency Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan at Islamabad.
During the meeting, H.E. Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi appreciated Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram’s valuable contributions and continuous efforts in promoting cultural, academic, and diplomatic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. He also acknowledged Mr. Akram’s role in fostering dialogue and strengthening people-to-people connections through research and institutional engagement.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also expressed his sincere appreciation for the proactive and dynamic role of H.E. Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. He commended the Embassy’s initiatives in promoting collaboration across various sectors, including education, research, and cultural exchange.
The discussion emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between think tanks, academic institutions, and policy research organizations in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. It was noted that such collaborations would contribute significantly to deepening mutual understanding and exploring new avenues for partnership.
Furthermore, it was mutually agreed that both sides would work closely in the fields of research and knowledge exchange. In this regard, joint seminars, conferences, and dialogue platforms will be organized to promote intellectual cooperation and strengthen institutional linkages between the two countries.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further advancing Pakistan–UAE relations and exploring meaningful opportunities for long-term collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
