Islamabad (Sapeher Times) IGP Reviews Police Station Construction, Crime Prevention, Security and Public Facilitation; Directs Further Improvements،According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry chaired an important meeting with senior police officers at the Central Police Office (CPO) to review the law and order situation, crime prevention measures, operational readiness, security arrangements and the provision of improved police services to citizens across the federal capital.During the meeting, the overall performance of Islamabad Police, measures taken to protect citizens’ lives and property, and progress reports on tasks assigned to officers were reviewed. IGP Islamabad directed all officers to complete their assigned tasks within the stipulated timelines, improve operational efficiency and ensure effective action against criminal elements without discrimination. He emphasized that the timely redress of public complaints, easy access to police services and improved public facilitation must remain key priorities.Meanwhile, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry held a separate important meeting with the relevant officers and staff regarding the construction of new police stations in Islamabad. The meeting reviewed ongoing construction projects, progress achieved so far and the future course of action. The concerned officers briefed the IGP on the current status of construction work and the issues requiring attention.IGP Islamabad directed the relevant officers to ensure that all construction projects are completed within the prescribed timelines and in accordance with the approved plans, without compromising on construction quality. He stated that new police stations equipped with modern facilities would play an important role in providing timely, efficient and improved police services to citizens. He stressed the need to prioritize public convenience, efficient operations and easy access to police services at the new facilities.IGP Islamabad further directed the officers to strengthen crime prevention efforts, improve the quality of investigations, ensure the timely completion of investigations and maintain courteous and professional conduct with citizens. He also highlighted the welfare of police officers and officials as an important priority and directed that effective measures be taken to address their legitimate concerns and provide better workplace and professional facilities.IGP Islamabad Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry reiterated that protecting the lives and property of citizens, ensuring transparent policing, providing modern facilities and strengthening public trust are among the fundamental priorities of Islamabad Police. He directed all officers to perform their duties with diligence, integrity and professionalism and continue coordinated efforts to deliver efficient and citizen-friendly police services.
