Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Police Finalizes Comprehensive Security Plan for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ،According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has finalized a comprehensive security plan to ensure foolproof security at mosques and religious gatherings on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.Under the security plan, more than 3,000 police officers and officials will perform security duties, while dedicated police teams will conduct patrols in their respective areas under the supervision of SDPOs and concerned SHOs. The respective Zonal SPs will personally monitor all security arrangements. Necessary directives have also been issued to all concerned SHOs.During Eid Milad-un-Nabi, SWAT and DELTA Force commandos, CTD officials, Capital Patrol Unit, female commandos, armed and uniformed police officials, as well as plainclothes officers, will perform security duties. Special duties have also been assigned to Islamabad Traffic Police officers to ensure smooth traffic flow. Citizens will be checked through walk-through gates and metal detectors.The main Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession will commence from Jamia Masjid Al-Raza, G-7 Centre, and proceed along designated routes before concluding at Darbar Sakhi Mehmood Badshah in Aabpara. Police officials will be deployed on both sides of the streets along the procession route, while additional security will be provided at mosques and other places of worship located along the route. Vehicle parking will be arranged away from the procession routes.
Separate security plans have also been prepared for Eid Milad-un-Nabi rallies and Milad gatherings. Strict checking is being carried out at all entry and exit points of the city. All items and areas along the procession routes will be thoroughly checked, while the Bomb Disposal Squad will conduct sweeps of designated areas to ensure maximum security.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the foremost responsibility of the police. He stated that Islamabad Police will utilize all available resources to ensure the safety and security of citizens and maintain law and order in the city.
