Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Over 338 individuals checked during citywide search operations in capital،Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs.During these search operations, a total of 338 individuals, 179 households, eight hotels, 46 shops, 217 motorcycles and 73 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, six suspicious individuals and 25 motorcycles were also shifted to the police station for further verification.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the objective of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further enhance security across the city.Such operations are being conducted in different areas throughout the district. Islamabad Police continues indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers, he added.
