ISLAMABAD (Sapeher Times) Over 590 individuals checked during citywide search operations in capitalFollowing the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs.During these search operations, a total of 560 individuals, 175 households, 30 hotels, 64 shops, 300 motorcycles and 62 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, 41 suspicious individuals and 23 motorcycles were also shifted to the police station for further verification.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the objective of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further enhance security across the city.Such operations are being conducted in different areas throughout the district. Islamabad Police continues indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers, he added.
