Islamabad (Sapeher Times) IGP Islamabad orders smart policing and technology based public safety measures ،،According to details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an important meeting at the Central Police Office Islamabad. The meeting was attended by DIGs, SSPs, and other senior police officers. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, security arrangements, crime control, traffic management, Safe City expansion projects, IT initiatives, and ongoing public facilitation projects.During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad assigned key targets and responsibilities to all relevant officers with clearly defined timelines. He directed all officers to work with coordination and professionalism to further improve crime prevention, protection of citizens lives and property, and the policing system.He further stated that the use of modern technology, timely response, and effective monitoring systems would further improve law and order in the federal capital. The IGP Islamabad also instructed officers to take practical measures for the prompt resolution of citizens complaints, improvement in the patrolling system, and better traffic flow management.The meeting also included detailed discussions on the expansion of Safe City projects, installation of modern cameras, digital monitoring systems, and IT-based smart policing initiatives. The IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed that modern technology should be utilized to ensure effective monitoring of criminal elements and provide a safe environment for citizens.Earlier, IGP Islamabad also held a special meeting with Director IT, regarding public safety technical initiatives under the Safe City project.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the effective use of modern technology, upgrading Safe City projects, making monitoring systems more efficient, and ensuring a safer environment for citizens On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad issued instructions stating that modern IT initiatives should be made more effective and integrated to promote public safety, smart policing, and digital governance so that citizens can receive improved and prompt police services.
