Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Massive search operations, over 4,000 individuals checked in Islamabad,Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continued a series of search and combing operations in various areas of the cityIn this regard, Islamabad Police carried out 48 grand search and combing operations across the federal capital during the current week as part of efforts to maintain law and order and curb criminal elements.During these search operations, a total of 4,188 individuals, 1,829 houses, 93 hotels, 548 shops, 1,588 motorcycles, and 646 vehicles were checked. Additionally, 221 suspicious individuals, including 21 foreigners, were shifted to respective police stations for verification.Moreover, during the operations, 05 vehicles and 133 motorcycles were also taken into custody and shifted to various police stations for verification purposes. Moreover, accused involved in illegal possession of weapons were also arrested, and arms along with ammunition were recovered from their possession.The IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed that grand search operations should continue across the city to ensure complete eradication of crime. He stated that the primary objective of these operations is to protect the lives and property of citizens and eliminate crime from the city.Islamabad Police have urged citizens to cooperate with police teams during checking and to report any suspicious activity immediately to the nearest police station or through the police helpline Pucar-15. Safety and security of citizens remain the utmost priority of Islamabad Police.
