Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Following the directives of the DG FIA & Director FIA Islamabad Zone Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari and under the supervision of Additional Director Nadeem Zafar, FIA Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad conducted a successful operation against a visa fraud agent who poses himself as Sub Inspector of FIA.

Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Following the directives of the DG FIA & Director FIA Islamabad Zone Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari and under the supervision of Additional Director Nadeem Zafar, FIA Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad conducted a successful operation against a visa fraud agent who poses himself as Sub Inspector of FIA.

On 07 March 2026, a notorious agent Imtiaz Nazar was arrested red-handed from Islamabad International Airport. The accused was involved in inducing and extorting huge sums of money from innocent people on the pretext of arranging European visas and falsely claiming to facilitate immigration clearance by impersonating himself as a serving Sub-Inspector of FIA.

The arrest was made through a planned / trap raid set by a victim, with the assistance of ASF staff at Islamabad International Airport.

The accused has been taken into custody by FIA AHTC Islamabad. During the arrest, three mobile phones containing data of victims and accomplices, along with a fake FIA service card, were recovered from his possession.

A case is being registered against the accused and his accomplices at FIA AHTC Islamabad under relevant sections of law. Further investigation is underway.
