Rawalpindi (Sapeher Times) Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association Celebrates Thanksgiving Day. Sports journalists from the Twin Cities and cricket have warmly welcomed General Syed Asim Munir’s promotion to the rank of Field Marshal and have congratulated him on this prestigious honor.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s renowned cricket commentator Ramiz Raja, Pakistan Super League Chief Executive Officer Suleman Naseer, renowned sports journalists Abdul Muhai Shah, Shakeel Ahmed Awan and Asghar Ali Mubarak paid tribute to the Pakistani armed forces. Former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja said that India attacked the cricket field in a cowardly act. Pakistan showed the opportunity to become a hero after every difficulty. Cricket is Pakistan’s identity in the world. All stakeholders now have to take cricket to the top. If there is cricket, then it is our honor. We all have to take Pakistan cricket to the top.
\nChief Executive PSL Salman Naseer said that Pakistan has always kept sports and politics apart, while India has not made a distinction between sports and politics.
\nSpeaking at the ceremony, PSL Chief Executive Salman Naseer said that when the drone fell outside the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, it became clear that things had come to this point. The situation for PSL was changing at the speed of hours. When the ceasefire was known, the PSL gave a befitting reply to India by starting it. He said that the nexus of Hindus and Jews was defeated with the power of unity. The revival of cricket in Pakistan has proven that Pakistan is a country of cricket lovers.
