He issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for their prompt resolution.A large number of citizens attended the open court and presented their complaints. DIG Islamabad directed the concerned officers to process all applications strictly on merit and in accordance with the law, ensuring timely relief to the applicants. He said that citizens could approach the open court directly and present their concerns without any recommendation. To facilitate the public, an open court is being held at the DIG Office on a daily basis.During the Orderly Room, DIG Islamabad emphasized that the welfare of police officers and officials, timely resolution of their legitimate issues and provision of better facilities remain among the key priorities of Islamabad Police. He directed the concerned officers to deal with all applications in accordance with departmental rules and regulations and ensure that no matter is unnecessarily delayed.DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem said that resolving citizens\u2019 complaints on merit and addressing the legitimate issues of police officers and officials are important priorities.
