Chaudhary and Dr. Colin F. Jackson, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS &amp; CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The delegation is undertaking a review of the United States\u2019 20-year engagement in Afghanistan. Discussions covered matters of mutual interest including Pakistan\u2019s support, the regional security environment and developments in Afghanistan, with focus on perspectives relevant to the Commission\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sapeher.dailysapehertimes.com.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/04d17f5656a142969122bdf0fefe633b.jpeg\" data-size-preset=\"full\" class=\"aligncenter\" data-align=\"center\" style=\"display: block; margin: 12px auto;\"><\/p>\n<p>The COAS &amp; CDF shared Pakistan\u2019s perspective on the security dynamics that shaped the conflict and highlighted the challenges faced by Pakistan during the prolonged conflict in Afghanistan.
