Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry met AIG Operations Hamza Humayun, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and SSP Security\/Admin Muhammad Shehryar Khan to review the overall security situation in the federal capital, crime prevention measures, police operations and steps to further strengthen the protection of citizens.During the meeting, the officers briefed the IGP Islamabad on the law and order situation, field deployment of police personnel, action against criminal elements, security arrangements and ongoing police operations. The deployment of police in different areas, patrolling arrangements, security of key locations and timely delivery of police services were also discussed.IGP Islamabad directed the officers to further strengthen security measures to protect the lives and property of citizens and accelerate action against criminal elements without discrimination. He also directed that field policing, patrolling, checking and picket arrangements be further improved.Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry emphasized the effective use of modern technology, human intelligence and available resources for crime prevention. He directed officers to continuously assess crime trends and take proactive measures to prevent incidents and respond effectively to any emerging situation.The IGP Islamabad also stressed the timely resolution of citizens\u2019 complaints and the provision of effective police services. He directed police officers and personnel to maintain courteous and professional conduct with citizens to further strengthen public confidence in the police.He further directed the concerned officers to ensure effective security of important and sensitive locations, maintain a high level of alertness among field personnel, and strengthen coordination among different police units.
