Islamabad (Sapeher Times) Police arrest 23 Accused, Drugs and Illegal Weapons Recovered\u060cAccording to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown across the federal capital to prevent crime, apprehend criminal elements, and ensure the safety and security of citizens.As part of the ongoing operations, Islamabad Police teams arrested 23 accused individuals involved in drug trafficking and the illegal possession of weapons. Police recovered 1,452 grams of Ice, 20 liquor of wine, four Rifles and 14 pistols of different calibers, along with ammunition, from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is underway.SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens across the federal capital. He said that under the \u201cNo to Weapon\u201d campaign, comprehensive action is being taken against the illegal possession and display of weapons, as well as aerial firing.He further stated that effective measures are also being taken to apprehend proclaimed offenders and individuals with previous criminal records, while ensuring prompt access to justice for citizens.
