Special teams have been formed to monitor illegal parking at shopping malls, markets, commercial centers, and major roads throughout Islamabad.Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad, Kainat Azhar Khan, has issued specific instructions to all zonal DSPs to ensure strict enforcement of traffic laws and to take indiscriminate action against elements that obstruct traffic flow, particularly those disrupting traffic discipline.She further emphasized that parking in areas designated for commercial purposes must be strictly observed, and no leniency will be shown to violators. Footpaths are meant for pedestrians, and no parking or obstruction will be tolerated on them.All possible facilities will be provided to citizens visiting commercial centers.
