Islamabad Police also presented a special parade and floats, which were highly appreciated by citizens.Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi inspected the security arrangements for the City Parade, as well as the special parade and floats presented by Islamabad Police. He received briefings from the officers deployed at the venue and issued necessary directions. He also encouraged and appreciated the police officers and officials participating in the parade.Officers from the Islamabad Police SWAT Force, Capital Patrol Unit and Islamabad Traffic Police actively participated in the special City Parade, reflecting the professionalism, discipline, and national spirit of Islamabad Police.On Independence Day, Islamabad Police implemented comprehensive security arrangements across the district at important locations, major roads, recreational areas, and public gatherings. Special traffic arrangements were also made to facilitate citizens and ensure smooth traffic flow.All senior police officers remained present in the field and continuously monitored security and traffic arrangements. Police officers and officials efficiently performed various duties, including public facilitation, security checking, and traffic management.Due to the effective arrangements by Islamabad Police, Independence Day celebrations were held peacefully across the district, allowing citizens to celebrate with their families with national spirit and enthusiasm.
